At the start of 2018, the yen fell below 0.26 again. The lowest bank buying rate was 0.2654 (Yongfeng Commercial Bank), with a selling rate of 0.2651. It began to depreciate after the Christmas and New Year holiday period, also reaching a new low in nearly two years. By January 3, the buying rate was 0.255 (Zhao Feng Commercial Bank), and the selling rate was 0.2656 (Yongfeng Commercial Bank). The overall trend remains downward. Travelers who want to exchange yen early can start paying attention and preparing now.
