The stunning scenic spot “Angel’s Tear,” Chiaming Lake, beloved by many hiking enthusiasts, is regularly set to enter a quiet mountain period to reduce human impact such as that from hikers. During this time, all climbing applications are suspended, and surrounding trails and mountain huts along the route are completely closed.

The quiet mountain period runs from January 5 to March 31, 2018. During this period, the high-altitude mountain climate is colder. The Taitung Forest Management Office also uses this time to repair trails and carry out maintenance work, and the construction of the viewing platform will also be carried out.
