"Once Again. Egg Cake" is located in Taichung’s bustling Yimin Shopping District. This seemingly ordinary food truck hides some truly creative treats. The owner draws inspiration from international street food and uses a secret recipe to make the cake extra soft and fluffy. Freshly made egg cakes not only have a cute, round shape but are also coated with various sauces that delight the taste buds.

The shop offers 5 flavors: original, custard, chocolate, longan honey, and sea salt caramel. Customers can freely choose their favorites, with options to mix and match four pieces per set. For first-timers unsure what to pick, you can simply ask for the mixed set and enjoy all four creative flavors – each set is just 30 NT dollars.

Near Taichung’s Caotun Road, there’s an "INO Cafe," with "INO Ice" right in front. Besides selling ice cream, the shop offers six innovative fillings by replacing the traditional wheel cake shell with egg cake, incorporating popular strawberry and matcha custard flavors. A set of five costs 80 NT dollars, letting you easily enjoy a bite full of happiness.

Aside from the seasonal favorite strawberry matcha, other flavors include matcha with white beans, matcha, strawberry, brown sugar mochi, and original custard – six flavors in total, sold in sets of five, priced between 60 to 80 NT dollars. Staff say the most popular isn’t the strawberry series but the brown sugar mochi custard. Compared to the sweet-and-sour strawberry matcha, the brown sugar mochi has broader appeal.
