Foreigners Only!“Osaka–Tottori” Sightseeing Bus – Direct to Tottori for Just ¥280

Taiwan’s renowned female singer A-Lin served as the tourism ambassador for the Japan Tourism Agency last year, traveling to Tottori Prefecture to shoot an MV. The MV showcased famous spots such as Tottori Sand Dunes and San’in Sanso Onsen Street, successfully boosting Tottori’s visibility in Taiwan. Now, to attract more travelers to Tottori, the city of Tottori has launched a super-value bus service starting June 1. For just ¥1,000 (about NT$280), you can take a direct bus from Osaka to Tottori for a fun trip.

This year, Tottori City has partnered with Japanese transportation services to offer a foreign tourists-only express sightseeing bus from June 1 until the end of March 2018. For just ¥1,000 (original price ¥3,700), travelers can take an express bus from Namba OCAT in Osaka directly to Tottori. If you’re coming from Kansai Airport, there is also a separate “Kansai Airport–Tottori” bus route, but you’ll need to transfer at Namba OCAT in Osaka, with a fare of ¥2,050.

There are three locations where you can purchase tickets for this bus route: Kansai Airport Passenger Service Center and the 2nd floor of Namba OCAT. If you want to visit Tottori and experience a different kind of Japanese beauty, don’t miss this chance.
