The Asia Pacific Group invested NT$1.8 billion to build the new in Beitou, which has officially opened and started accepting room and dining reservations this week. Boasting a prime location and stunning views, the hotel’s 140 rooms all offer scenic sights — from up-close views of Danfeng Mountain to distant views of Guanyin Mountain. Designed by Japanese architect Hironobu Hirose, the hotel delivers a Japanese Zen-style hot spring accommodation experience. Themed around “active wellness and serene rest,” the upscale new hot spring hotel in Beitou not only features men’s and women’s naked bathing areas, a large indoor pool, premium SPA treatments, a restaurant, and banquet halls, but also includes a virtual reality experience space with AR and VR entertainment options. Guests of all ages can enjoy a unique hot spring holiday here.

The 140 guest rooms at the Asia Pacific Hotel in Beitou mainly come in three types: Classic Rooms, Deluxe Rooms, and Asia Pacific Suites, ranging from 12 to 16 ping in size. There are various options based on spatial design and bed configurations. All room furniture adopts warm wooden tones, and in addition to Western-Japanese style rooms, there are also tatami-style rooms that authentically recreate the atmosphere of traditional Japanese hot spring ryokans.

Attention to detail reflects the management’s dedication and ensures guests enjoy an exceptional vacation experience. Some features in the guest rooms of the newly opened Asia Pacific Hotel in Beitou make the stay truly unique. The walls of all rooms use a material called “s暝逋痢?which offers moisture absorption and odor elimination properties while also improving insulation. In the washbasin and toilet areas, the design includes a niche for toiletries, adding a refined touch. Additionally, the “rest nook” in each room, uniquely designed, allows guests to enjoy soft lighting even when lying in bed. Furthermore, the slippers provided are made using Italian techniques.

The Asia Pacific Hotel in Beitou has a banquet hall that can accommodate up to 40 tables, making it suitable not only for weddings but also corporate year-end parties and celebrations. With a starting price of NT$16,800 per table, it is 30% more affordable than comparable city hotels. The restaurant, which can seat 120 guests, offers Cantonese and Teochew cuisine set meals at lunch and semi-buffet meals starting at NT$980 per person in the evening. The restaurant has a modern design with both indoor and outdoor seating areas. The long outdoor terrace features casual dining furniture, and large floor-to-ceiling windows offer sweeping views of the Beitou mountain scenery.

The gender-segregated public hot spring bathing areas include various types of hot spring pools, allowing guests to soak in Beitou and Yangmingshan’s unique white sulfur springs. These public areas are divided into indoor and outdoor sections, providing different bathing experiences.

The oversized indoor swimming pool at the Asia Pacific Hotel in Beitou is one of its highlights, surpassing those of many international hotels in Taipei. Guests can swim here, and the pool area also features a family play zone and a stage area where live performances are held to enhance the vacation atmosphere.
