Every year from April to May, it's the season when tung flowers are in full bloom, and Nantou is one of the earliest counties in Taiwan to see them. Recently, about 40% of the tung flowers at the Niuer Art Resort in Puli, Nantou, have bloomed, with many more still in bud. Their pure white, elegant posture resembles snowflakes bursting forth on the branches, creating an absolutely breathtaking sight.Manager Zhang of the resort said that by next week until early May, the flowers will be in full bloom, and the public can make advance reservations for a tung flower viewing trip.

The "Niuer Art Resort," established in 1987, covers an area of about 20,000 pyeong (approximately 65,700 square meters). The resort is planted with a variety of flowers and plants, making it a veritable nature and ecology classroom. Every mid-April, the tung flowers steal the show. Strolling through the garden, clusters of white flowers shine brilliantly under the sunlight, while petals fallen by the rain dot the lawn. The interplay of white and green adds a poetic touch, attracting many tourists to stop and take photos.
