Awarded praise by The New York Times, pizza chef Jon Darsky decided to create a mobile pizzeria after witnessing the rise of various food trucks. Jon spent $180,000 transforming an original shipping container into a mobile wood-fired pizza kitchen. He removed one side wall of the container and replaced it with a glass door, allowing customers to watch the entire pizza-making and baking process. The hot, delicious pizzas, enhanced by the truck’s unique design aesthetics, have successfully become a crowd-attracting display area.

The truck features a wood-fired oven custom-made in Italy. Weighing 2,000 kilograms, the oven can bake a pizza in just one minute. The freshly baked pizzas have an authentically crispy texture, giving diners the illusion of being in Naples, making it one of the most popular pizzerias in San Francisco. The mobile truck continues to travel around various parts of the city, with its daily route published online in real time.
