Taipei Dynasty Hotel has launched its 2018 premium takeout New Year’s Eve meal sets, available for purchase starting tomorrow (the 2nd)! Handcrafted jointly by Chef Wang Jinhuang of Yulanxuan and Chef Lin Wenke of the banquet hall, these sets offer exceptional value compared to other hotels that often start at tens of thousands. The complete 9-dish set from Taipei Dynasty Hotel is priced at just NT$8,800, making it a great cost-performance choice. There are also discounts for à la carte orders: 5% off for 3–5 dishes, 10% off for 6–8 dishes, and 15% off for any 9-dish selection. Orders can be placed from tomorrow through the 12th. Each dish comes in a convenient, microwave-safe container, and a Dynasty thermal bag is included with every order.

The takeout New Year’s Eve dishes are both festive and classic. For example, Yulanxuan’s signature “Dried Scallop Radish Cake” features a smooth texture, sweet shredded radish, and a melt-in-your-mouth feel—authentic Cantonese cuisine symbolizing continuous advancement. “Dried Scallop Buddha Jumps Over the Wall” is another classic for the Spring Festival, made with premium dried scallops, mushrooms, chestnuts, taro, chicken, and pork ribs, slow-cooked for 12 hours in a rich broth made from old hens—making it a must-have dish for New Year’s Eve dinner. There’s also the chef’s special “Plum Forest Crispy Pork Ribs,” where pork ribs are marinated and then fried to achieve a crispy exterior and tender interior. A single cut releases an irresistible aroma, and they’re even more delicious when served with steamed buns, making them a standout dish for family gatherings. Other popular dishes include “Shaoxing Wine Live Shrimp,” “Prosperity with Ease,” and “Grilled Eel Rice with Oil.”

For those wanting to enjoy a grand and lively New Year’s Eve reunion dinner, consider the “Prosperity Reunion Dinner” at Taipei Dynasty Hotel’s banquet hall. The chef carefully selects local Taiwanese ingredients to create a classic reunion table spread. Guests can dine amidst the lively atmosphere of the grand banquet hall or opt for the privacy of individual private rooms, with live performances adding to the festivity. Each table (for 5 people) is priced at NT$12,888 + 10% service charge.

Yulanxuan’s reunion dinner offerings include signature dishes such as “Red Quinoa Braised Pork Ribs,” “Steamed Grouper,” “Walnut Stir-fried Fresh Scallops,” and “Garlic Steamed King Prawns.” Unlimited juices are available throughout the meal, and a set of four New Year appetizers is included. On the evening of February 15 from 5:30 PM to 9:00 PM, half a table (5 people) is NT$12,999 + 10%, and a full table (10 people) is NT$21,888 + 10%.
