Huashan, accessible via Exit 1 of Zhongxiao Xinsheng Station, is itself a park that gathers various forms of artistic creation. The shops within the park each have their own unique characteristics, and DPT-Department is no exception. Right after opening, it was hailed by the trend bible HYPEBEAST as the Taiwanese version of Colette (a famous Parisian fashion boutique), showing just how much attention it commands. In addition to showcasing many notable brands, the store also offers lifestyle goods and fragrance products for customers to choose from. After shopping, visitors can head to the outdoor “COFFEE DPT” for a cup of coffee and enjoy the ambiance of a garden setting.

The designer behind DPT-Department, Yoshirotten, was inspired by the concept of a “home.”Using multiple LED light strips, he created a “house within a house”where we can see outlines of areas like a living room and a shower room. Each section is thoughtfully designed, skillfully using materials such as acrylic, glass, and steel frames to craft a simple yet avant-garde environment. The store is not only a shopping mecca but also a hotspot for photo shoots.Several light tubes outside the store outline a geometric environment, presenting different styles during the day and night, attracting people to explore. Especially when photographed with the “mirror,” the scenes appear hazy yet infinitely extending—quite unique.
