Global Ranking of the Best Nightlife Cities – Taipei, Taichung, and Kaohsiung All Make the List

Where in the world has the most enticing nightlife? Agoda, a global hotel booking site in Asia, has added a nightlife rating to over 113,000 customer reviews, scored from 1 to 5, with 5 being the highest. Based on feedback, the top global nightlife cities have been voted on, with Taiwan’s capital, Taipei, ranking ninth globally. Taichung and Kaohsiung also made it into the top 25 worldwide; the top three spots go to Bangkok in Thailand, Dubai in the Arab region, and Boracay in the Philippines.

Voting for the top ten nightlife cities in the world, Bangkok is the vibrant capital of Thailand, famous worldwide for its tuk-tuks (three-wheeled taxis), temples, and street food; Dubai is a glittering desert metropolis; while Boracay is known for its pristine white sands and palm groves.

Following them is Pattaya, a seaside town in Thailand. It boasts bustling streets and a lively crowd. Fifth place goes to Tokyo, Japan, a megacity with a population of 13 million that never sleeps, thanks to its neon-lit vibrancy. Sixth place is Phuket, Thailand’s largest island, while Hong Kong and Macau rank seventh and eighth respectively. Hong Kong is known for its dynamic architecture and world-class cuisine, and Macau is famed for its large casinos and Portuguese-Chinese cuisine. Taiwan’s modern capital, Taipei, squeezed into ninth place, while Indonesia’s ever-popular paradise island   [Note: original text garbled] also makes the list.
