There are plenty of great noodle shops in Seoul, offering everything from cold noodles, hot noodles, jjajangmyeon (Korean black bean sauce noodles), to pasta... But among them all, the “Bounce God” restaurant located on Daehak-ro serves up a “soul-stirring delicacy” that is truly unforgettable — the “soul-tempting creamy noodles.” Visitors heading to Ehwa Village or Naksan Park might want to slow down and try this popular dish loved by nearby university students.

At “Bounce God,” there are five types of noodles and two types of pizza on offer. The most famous is the “white sauce creamy noodles.” Though it looks like Italian pasta, it is actually full of Korean flair. The noodles are handmade fresh daily — soft yet delightfully chewy with a springy bite. The rich, creamy white sauce surprisingly carries a spicy kick, which oddly complements the sauce perfectly, making it impossible to stop after just one bite.

In addition, the shop offers two types of pizza — one with white sauce and the other with red sauce. Both are made with freshly hand-rolled thin crusts that are crispy, chewy, and delicious. Topped simply with tomato and cheese, they are further enhanced with the shop’s specially made sweet-and-sour mayo, resulting in a flavor combo that diners are sure to savor and look forward to returning for.
