The Flower Sea in Xinpi Township, Pingtung – A Breathtaking Floral Landscape

As the Lunar New Year approaches, how should you plan your holiday getaway during the nine-day break? The small flower sea at the Comprehensive Recreational Park in Xinpi Township, Pingtung County, covers an area of about 1.2 hectares and is currently in full bloom with cosmos, yellow cosmos, and sunflowers. Under the blue sky and white clouds, the swaying blossoms create an incredibly beautiful scene that not only captivates visitors but also inspires them to take countless photos as keepsakes.

By taking Provincial Highway 1 and then County Road 118, after crossing the Jihu Bridge, you’ll find the expansive flower sea at the Comprehensive Recreational Park in Xinpi Township. In addition to yellow cosmos, the sunflower section spans about 0.4 hectares, while the cosmos field covers around 0.8 hectares — both currently in peak bloom. With a riot of red, pink, white, and yellow blooms, the vibrant colors weave together a picturesque and idyllic scene.
