Tickets discounted by up to 30% plus a chance to win lucky draw prizes – Theme parks launch Spring Festival promotions

E-Da Theme Park has launched its new “Willie’s Pirate Village” attraction ahead of the Lunar New Year. From now until March 3, tickets originally priced at NT$899 are available at a promotional price of NT$599, extending the discount period. Those who haven’t planned their Lunar New Year itinerary yet may consider a fun-filled trip to a domestic theme park.

To celebrate the Lunar New Year, from the first to the eighth day of the first lunar month, the park will also hold an enhanced “Pirate Fist Lucky Draw” event. Participants who successfully complete the challenge can draw a lucky prize bag and win E-Da World commemorative merchandise. Additionally, the Rainbow Theater is premiering a brand-new show, “Toy Carnival,” featuring cartoon characters as its theme, combining aerial stunts, ballet dancing, and magic performances. Targeting the high-spending potential of the Lunar New Year season, E-Da World aims to capture the wallets of visitors across Taiwan with “Willie’s Pirate Village,” 45 rides and attractions, and exciting new shows.

E-Da World has obtained the exclusive license for the cartoon “Vicky the Viking” and invested NT$150 million to create “Willie’s Pirate Village,” which blends pirate adventures with educational elements. The “Willie’s Lazy River” ride lets visitors experience a journey reminiscent of Pi’s adventure in “Life of Pi,” immersing them in a magical pirate atmosphere at all times. The “Hand-Paddled Boat” allows children to steer and learn the spirit of adventurous sailing, as well as practice using both hands and feet. There is also the “Mirror Maze,” designed to develop the essential sense of direction needed for navigation. With dazzling lights and hundreds of mirrors, it challenges children to find their way and locate the correct exit.

In terms of interactive experiences, the thrilling “Pirate STOMP Show” features dancers from Taiwan and abroad dressed in authentic Viking pirate costumes. Backed by rhythmic drumbeats, they create powerful beats by stomping, clapping, and slapping their bodies and the floor — making it the only Viking pirate performance of its kind in Taiwan. There are also costumed characters inspired by “Vicky the Viking,” with live cosplayers and adorable mini Willie figures making surprise appearances in the Nordic-style “Willie’s Pirate Village.”
