Round and round we go, pulling all of you into my food circle~ This is a well-known spot from Taipei, and now you don’t have to go to Taipei to enjoy it – it’s available right here in Tainan, Up! Don’t you think people in Tainan are really blessed? Not only do they have local snacks and delicacies, but they also have Circle Brunch.Coffee from Taipei. Feels so good, right? No wonder I can’t lose weight~~~

The ‘Circle Brunch.Coffee Tainan Park Branch’ is located on Park Road. With its slightly recessed façade, you might just walk right past it if you’re not paying attention. It’s quite close to Tainan Vista Cinema – catch a movie and then enjoy some great food. Doesn’t that sound lovely?

While waiting for your food, let’s take a look at the dining environment first. Even before entering, you can tell this building is quite beautiful – a garden villa over 60 years old, now newly renovated. The white walls even preserve a section of red brick. That’s right, this is an old house built with red bricks.

The building has three floors, and each level features a different ambiance in its decor and furnishings. The front part of the second floor is the bar and kitchen area, giving off a semi-open kitchen vibe. The old window by the stairs confirms that this is indeed an old building. Paired with green sofas, it has a rather retro feel.

Turn a corner, and this area is the customer seating zone. There are quite a few seats, and a hole has been specially made in the brick wall to expose the red bricks, which has become a unique feature.

This section is the customer seating area on the third floor. The outer area also combines retro style with modern elements. Take a turn into another dining space, where purple sofas and the old building create an elegant atmosphere. Each space has a different feel, and private room services are also available. If you’re having a larger gathering, feel free to inquire~

Here’s a look at the menu~ You can choose from brunch, pasta, risotto, afternoon tea, drinks, and even hot pot during dinner hours, which is only available in the evening!! It’s a thick menu filled with photos and descriptions – I love menus with pictures~ There are plenty of flavor options for the dishes too~

Wow wow wow~~ Would breakfast be too lavish like this?! It’s steak~~ Slow-roasted beef steak, tender yet chewy with a bit of texture and grilled aroma, and the mushroom sauce has a smooth flavor that doesn’t overpower the taste of the meat. The slow roast preserves the juiciness. There’s also a salad on the side, paired with a tangy and sweet orange sauce, and the bread contains cranberries. The bread also goes well with the thick soup – the soup is smooth with a sweet onion flavor. It’s super filling after eating this meal!!

Circle American Fried Chicken – NT$160
The fried chicken is juicy, crispy, and fragrant, with a crispy crust and tender, juicy meat. Boneless thigh meat is used, so you can enjoy big bites to your heart’s content. Best eaten while hot.

Spicy Ginger Sesame Oil Chicken Risotto – NT$260
You can upgrade to a set meal for an additional charge, with three different price tiers and various dish combinations to choose from.

The chicken has a tender texture, the risotto carries the aroma of sesame oil, and there’s a mild spiciness from the ginger, paired with mushrooms, bell peppers, goji berries, and ginger slices. This Taiwanese-style sesame oil chicken is presented with Italian techniques – a fusion of East and West. The rice grains retain their texture but aren’t hard, with a faint hint of wine aroma wafting through. It gives off a warm winter vibe that feels very comforting. This dish is quite unique~

I love seafood the most, and this pasta is made with quality ingredients ! It has squid tubes, shrimp, and the menu says the plump clams are freshly delivered straight from Qigu~ The noodles have just the right texture, not too soft or mushy. The tanginess of the tomato, the aroma of onion, and the garlic flavor blend well, with the taste of seafood infused into the pasta. This dish is delicious~ I personally really like it, and the seafood ingredients all seem quite fresh !

Banana Chocolate Brûlée / Small Ball $180
There’s also a large ball option available, but it’s recommended to reserve in advance as it’s limited daily.

Pangbi had been wanting to try this small ball for a while~ I finally came, and it’s covered in chocolate with hot white chocolate sauce drizzled on top. The heat melts the ball, making it spread out, and there’s filling inside too~ It really feels like a labor-intensive dessert ! Visually satisfying, underneath is toast with brûlée liquid, offering a moist and sweetly soft texture, paired with banana and chocolate—these two ingredients really complement each other !

Toffee Soufflé Pancake $190
Oh~ I had a hard time choosing when ordering. I also wanted to try the berry flavor~ Seeing this reminded me of Japanese desserts, it looks so good, and I couldn’t wait to take a bite.

The fluffy soufflé is made with carefully selected eggs from Baihe. It’s made to order so you’ll have to wait a bit, served warm ! The soufflé has a soft and fluffy texture, paired with the store’s homemade toffee, offering a slightly sweet and mildly salty flavor. There’s also whipped cream in the middle for pairing, making it light and not overly rich.

Matcha Latte $130
Combines the unique flavor of matcha with the richness of fresh milk, slightly bitter and fragrant, quite smooth.

Passion Fruit Yogurt Soda $130
Has a distinct, light, soft aroma with a mildly sour and sweet taste, along with a bubbly sensation, very refreshing~
