Travel Center / Comprehensive Report
In 2018, Regent Taipei and All Nippon Airways (ANA) collaborated once again to bring passengers flying from Taipei to Tokyo in business class award-winning beef noodles—namely, the Clear-Braised Beef Noodles and Red-Braised Beef Noodles, both champions of the Taipei International Beef Noodles Festival—as well as the hotel’s renowned Sichuan and Cantonese cuisine. These special offerings were available on select flights in January, April, July, and October.
Chef Tsai Shao-hua of Regent Chinese Restaurant, who was in charge of designing the menu, shared that the 2018 dishes were centered around two main themes: first, showcasing the diversity of Taiwan’s beloved beef noodles, and second, introducing travelers between Taiwan and Japan to the chef’s signature Sichuan and Cantonese dishes.
