Green Expo in Yilan – Special Travel Deals Up to 50% Off Plus Free Entry Tickets

With recent warmer weather, spring has arrived across Taiwan. Yilan’s annual and important Green Expo will take place from March 30 to May 19. To handle the anticipated crowds, hotels and accommodations in Yilan are offering special deals during the expo period. In addition to early-bird discounts for advance bookings, those who book during the expo period may enjoy up to 50% off room rates or receive free entry tickets to the Green Expo.

The harsh winter winds have trimmed the excess from the land, preparing the perfect colorful stage for the arrival of spring. Yilan’s annual “Green Expo” on the Lanyang Plain in northeastern Taiwan is about to begin. Last year’s Green Expo not only promoted close contact with nature but also introduced a new concept of “organic forest living.” This year’s expo is themed “Remember… to Breathe with the Forest,” encouraging people to leave behind their busy lives and enjoy carefree, unburdened breathing in the forest at Wujihkeng.

In response to the Green Expo, organizers have partnered with local homestays to offer discounts of up to 65% off or free expo entry tickets for stays during the event. Additionally, guests presenting an expo ticket stub can enjoy accommodation at hotels and hot spring resorts in Yilan starting from as low as 50% off on weekdays.

The renowned Leo Ocean Hot Spring Hotel in Yilan, famous for its sea view of Guishan Island, is also joining the trend. From March 30 to May 19, it is offering a “Leo Sea View + Green Expo Double Theme Quartet Deal” for just NT$4,980. For this price, guests can stay in a seaside garden room originally priced at nearly NT$20,000, where they can enjoy sea views, bird songs, two meals, free outdoor hot spring spa experiences, and receive four free entry tickets to the Green Expo. Travelers planning to go out at the end of the month are encouraged to take advantage of this deal to experience the green vitality of spring.
