As the year draws to a close, low-cost airlines have begun rolling out promotional airfares to help travelers plan their 2018 trips early and snag affordable tickets. Tigerair Taiwan has just launched its third wave of summer promotions, with one-way flights from Kaohsiung to Okinawa starting at a tax-exclusive NT$1,599; Vanilla Air’s summer flight sale offers one-way tickets from Taoyuan to Tokyo from a tax-exclusive NT$1,288; and Jetstar Asia is running end-of-year specials with round-trip flights from Taoyuan to Da Nang starting at a tax-inclusive NT$3,126. Other promotional destinations include Singapore–Osaka and South Korea’s Daegu, with departure dates available through October next year.

Tigerair Taiwan’s third wave of summer promotions is on sale from now until 23:59 on the 28th. Destinations include: round-trip flights from Taoyuan to Okayama, Japan, starting at a tax-exclusive NT$2,898; round-trip flights from Taoyuan to Daegu, South Korea, starting at a tax-exclusive NT$3,126; and round-trip flights from Kaohsiung to Okinawa starting at a tax-exclusive NT$2,963 (all prices tax-exclusive). Travel dates range from March 25 to October 27, 2018. Enter promo code “ITSUMMER” to enjoy an additional 10% discount.

Vanilla Air’s first wave of summer flight promotions goes on sale from 5:00 p.m. on the 27th to 22:30 on the 29th. Promotional routes include: one-way flights from Taipei to Tokyo Narita starting at a tax-exclusive NT$1,288; one-way flights from Taipei to Osaka starting at a tax-exclusive NT$1,428; one-way flights from Taoyuan to Okinawa starting at a tax-exclusive NT$1,388; and one-way flights from Kaohsiung to Tokyo Narita starting at a tax-exclusive NT$1,428 (all prices tax-exclusive). Travel dates range from January 17 to June 15, 2018.

Jetstar Asia’s end-of-year special promotions are on sale from now until 23:59 on the 31st. Promotional routes include: one-way flights from Taoyuan to Tokyo starting at a tax-exclusive NT$1,498; one-way flights from Taoyuan to Nagoya starting at a tax-exclusive NT$998; one-way flights from Taoyuan to Da Nang starting at a tax-exclusive NT$898; and one-way flights from Taoyuan to Singapore starting at a tax-exclusive NT$1,298 (all prices tax-exclusive).
