Who are the unsung heroes behind "delicious soup"? Hong Kong cuisine enjoys global acclaim.

Hong Kong cuisine's global status is undeniable, but can you imagine what it would be like to blend Hong Kong-style snacks with art? *Hong Kong 'Flavors* showcases 20 classic Cantonese dishes through an art exhibition, illustrating the evolution of Hong Kong’s food culture. The public can visit for free during the holiday at Huashan 1914 Creative Park.

Lin Tsiang-yo, Chairman of the Hong Kong Tourism Board, said: "Taiwan sees over two million visitors to Hong Kong every year, and Hong Kong cuisine is one of the key reasons drawing Taiwanese travelers here." The artworks in this exhibition combine film, images, and interactive projections, allowing visitors to experience the historical heritage of Hong Kong’s food. The veteran chefs featured in the exhibition are the true unsung heroes.

The "Culinary Grand Awards Interactive Projection Zone" in the exhibition offers an immersive experience akin to dining in a top-tier restaurant, where you can interactively sample award-winning dishes; the "Congee, Noodles, Rice & Pasta Video Zone" uncovers the stories behind authentic dishes through documentary-style footage; the "Classic Cha Chaan Teng" recreates the ambiance and nostalgia of a traditional Hong Kong-style café with a physical set-up.

"Hong Kong people show focus in how they present their food!" added Xu Weini, Director of the Hong Kong Tourism Board’s Taiwan Branch. "The idea for this exhibition was to elevate the depth of Hong Kong cuisine." Hong Kong food, in terms of dishes, ingredients, and cooking methods, carries the city’s unique cultural and historical background. Through the various presentations in the exhibition, Taiwanese visitors can experience the 'storytelling' within Hong Kong cuisine and gain insight into how these snacks are intertwined with everyday life culture. The *Hong Kong 'Flavors* exhibition runs from April 4 to April 7 at Hall B2, Huashan 1914 Creative Park, and admission is free.
