Kenting Spring Music Festival Begins – Book Online for a Chance to Win Free Accommodation & Delicious Food

Kenting’s annual highlight, the “Spring Scream,” kicked off today (March 3). In addition to Spring Scream, southern Taiwan is also hosting events such as the Spring Wave Music Festival and the Spring Fantasy Kenting Music Festival. With the Tomb Sweeping Festival holiday approaching, police estimate that 250,000 people will flock to these music events this year. Social media platforms have also launched the “Spring Madness in Kenting” campaign, calling on netizens to make online reservations via Weibo. Each person gets three precious votes per day to book popular local homestays and gourmet food in Kenting, with a chance to win exclusive Weibo perks such as free accommodation and delicious meals.

The annual spring music event that attracts large numbers of young people kicks off this year with Spring Scream. From today until March 7, the five-day Spring Scream will take place at Kenting’s Eluanbi. The online activity is the “Spring Madness in Kenting” campaign launched by social media, featuring well-known Kenting homestays such as Haixian Hostel, Haijing Resort Homestay, Orange Moon Homestay, and Cape 42 Homestay, as well as the most authentic Kenting restaurants. Netizens can sign up early and reserve their itineraries, with selected participants getting to stay for free and enjoy delicious meals.

Additionally, in support of environmental protection and Earth care, social media platforms are collaborating with Kenting-based Asia Pacific Fuel Cell Technologies Corp. (APFCT) to promote the core value of zero pollution. They’ve introduced a new MIT eco-friendly hydrogen motorcycle with minimal carbon dioxide emissions. During the campaign, anyone who takes a photo and posts it on Weibo with the hashtag “Spring Madness in Kenting” will be entered into a lucky draw to win travel kits and eco-friendly handmade school bags.
