▲ The Taichung UNO Container Market, the largest container market in Taiwan, began trial operations on December 22, 2017. The site features more than 30 vibrant container units, housing international brands and well-known local delicacies from central Taiwan, as well as a carousel and mini train. It's a paradise for foodies, fun-seekers, shoppers, and photographers alike. From December 22 to January 1, there will be exciting programs every day. Follow the official fan page and event page and leave comments for a chance to win prizes.

▲ UNO Market is located at: No. 251, Section 3, Taiwan Boulevard, Xitun District, Taichung City (beside the large open space next to Taiyuan Department Store and at the intersection of Taiwan Boulevard and Huizhong Road).

▲ It’s said that “UNO” means “one” in both Spanish and Italian, symbolizing being your own number one.

▲ Resembling a pink wedding cake box, some vendors weren’t ready during the trial operation period. I’m also not quite sure what they’re selling, but I found it quite special.

▲There were pretty Christmas girls promoting the UNO Market, so of course I took a few photos

Friends who love vibrant colors, delicious food, and taking beautiful photos must check it out. It’s right next to Taichung Dayeh and Shin Kong Mitsukoshi—you can spend a whole day exploring all three places.
