Taipei International Spring Travel Fair Kicks Off  13 Travel Packages Available Daily at Special Price of NT$999

The 2013 Taipei International Spring Travel Fair will open tomorrow (April 26). The Taipei City Government’s Department of Information and Tourism, in collaboration with travel agencies, has launched 13 group and independent travel packages under the theme “Unfinished Journeys – Spring Fun,” which are available at special prices at the Taipei Pavilion of the fair. To boost sales, daily limited-time offers at NT$999 each are being featured.

The 13 spring travel packages offered at the Taipei Pavilion are all based on attractions selected by experts and travel enthusiasts as part of the “101 Taipei Tourism Highlights” unveiled late last year. These include 10 group tour packages and 3 independent travel sets. The independent travel packages include lunch at a five-star hotel or a hot spring voucher, an afternoon tea coupon, plus a Taipei Pass 1-Day Ticket and the “101 Must-Do Experiences in Taipei,” each priced at NT$1,499. The 10 group tour packages all feature meals at five-star hotels and are available at a discounted price of NT$1,999.

To stimulate tourism consumption, limited-time offers with different daily themes will be available during the fair period, giving the public the chance to purchase packages at the unbeatable price of NT$999 each. Those looking to snag a great deal should head straight to the Taipei Pavilion.  Zhao Xinpeng, Director of the Department of Information and Tourism, said that these brand-new travel routes, launched for the first time at this spring travel fair, are travel products co-developed by the government and industry, exclusively tailored for Taipei. With active promotion by Taipei’s travel industry, the itineraries fully incorporate the city’s 101 tourism highlights. The public can visit the Taipei Pavilion from April 26 to 29 to grab these great deals.
