Breaking through the finish line to welcome the New Year—how thrilling!

Lihpao International Circuit keeps rolling out new attractions to draw in visitors. Just recently, it teamed up with AUDI to launch a driving experience center, and now it has announced a New Year’s Eve run on December 31st. This event lets thrill-seekers dash through the finish line and cross into the New Year amid the rush of speed on the last evening of 2017, capping off the year with an exciting finale. The New Year’s Eve Starlight Go-Kart Night Run package includes a chance to drive a single-seater go-kart, experience the VR Speed Conqueror, and also gives participants an exclusive 2018 race circuit T-shirt. The New Year’s Eve run operates via time-slot reservations, with five available slots: 6 PM, 7 PM, 8 PM, 9:30 PM, and 10:30 PM. Booking online in advance secures a discounted price.

Lihpao International Circuit is located within the Lihpao Land Resort in Houli District, Taichung, and is the only internationally certified go-kart racing circuit in Taiwan. The current track, dubbed the “Sled Track,” spans 1.1 kilometers with elevation changes, continuous S-curves, and a total of 13 turns. The karts used are top-tier Parolin models imported from Italy. Meanwhile, the Lihpao Land Resort’s New Year’s Eve celebrations also include concerts at the Outlet Plaza and a Ferris wheel sunrise welcome event.

In addition, the circuit area is currently under construction of a large-scale track, expected to be completed in 2018. It will become Taiwan’s most comprehensively planned international G2 racing circuit, capable of hosting events up to Formula 2 level.
