You’d need to jog for two and a half hours to burn it all off. At first glance, one might assume the filling must be insanely sweet, but when cut open, it reveals only a spiral of chocolate sauce sandwiched between milk bread. This is completely out of proportion with the calorie count stated on the packaging, scaring Japanese netizens half to death—they dare to buy it but not to eat it. According to analyses by Taiwanese netizens, a regular convenience store bread is also around 400 calories, but demon bread is three times the size of a normal bread, so the calories are naturally three times higher.
