Still a chance? Tigerair Taiwan’s third early-bird sale goes on sale Dec. 27, starting at NT$999 for 3 routes

Tigerair Taiwan’s third wave of early-bird promotions for the 2018 summer schedule will go on sale again from Dec. 27 for a limited time. The promotional routes include Taoyuan–Daegu, Kaohsiung–Naha (Okinawa), and Taoyuan–Kanoya, with untaxed prices starting as low as NT$999. Additionally, by using the promo code “ITSUMMER,” travelers can enjoy an extra 10% discount on the already discounted ticket price.

The third wave of summer schedule promotions runs from 10:00 AM on Dec. 27, 2017, to 11:59 PM on Dec. 28, 2017. The routes include: Taoyuan–Daegu one-way untaxed early-bird promotional fare starting at NT$999; Kaohsiung–Naha (Okinawa) one-way untaxed early-bird promotional fare starting at NT$1,099; Taoyuan–Kanoya one-way untaxed early-bird promotional fare starting at NT$1,199.

Tigerair Taiwan also offers the promo code “ITSUMMER.” If you see a strikethrough price and a lower price displayed in the fare section during your search, it means you can get an additional 10% discount on the already discounted ticket price. Even if you miss out on the early-bird promotional price, you can still enjoy discounted fares using the promo code.

In response to market demand, Tigerair Taiwan has many plans to increase flight frequency starting from the summer schedule on March 25, 2018. The “Kaohsiung–Fukuoka route” will increase from the current three flights per week to five; the “Kaohsiung–Tokyo Narita” route will increase from the current two flights per week to four; the “Kaohsiung–Naha (Okinawa)” route will increase from the current two flights per week to five; the “Taoyuan–Hakodate” route will increase from the current four flights per week to five; the “Taoyuan–Kanoya” route will increase from the current six flights per week to daily, flying every day.

The remaining unsold routes are expected to go on sale early next year (2018). The promotional travel period will be from March 25, 2018, to Oct. 27, 2018, covering next year’s Qingming holiday, Dragon Boat Festival, summer vacation, and National Day. With proper leave planning, travelers can enjoy holidays ranging from 3 to 8 days.

Tigerair Taiwan stated that the number of discounted tickets is limited, so act fast. Please prepare a passport valid for more than six months and a credit card to book on Tigerair Taiwan’s official website (www.tigerairtw.com). If interested travelers are unable to grab the early-bird discounted fare, please stay patient and keep trying—you can still secure relatively discounted prices using the discount code.
