Summer is here again, and the sweltering heat often makes people want to dive into cool seawater or a swimming pool. Domestic water parks are gearing up to attract visitors during this peak season—but among all these water parks and beach destinations, which ones are the most popular?

A well-known domestic website recently held the “Taiwan’s Top 10 Must-Visit Water Parks & Beaches PK,” with the voting period running from May 1 to May 15. Netizens voted to select the top 10 must-visit water parks and beaches for this summer. Among them, Lihpao Land’s “Mariana” in Wufeng, Taichung, took first place. As for the top beach destination, it broke away from traditional expectations—areas where sandy shores blend harmoniously with local natural scenery were favored by netizens. In the end, Fulong Beach claimed the top spot.

Top 5 Must-Visit Water Parks This Summer:

1st Place: Lihpao Land Mariana
Home to Southeast Asia’s first large-scale outdoor artificial wave pool, capable of generating waves as high as 2.4 meters, allowing visitors to enjoy the thrill of surfing. The area also features beach-themed landscaping, letting you stroll along white-sand shores and immerse yourself in an exotic romantic ambiance. This summer, it has specially planned activities such as the “Bikini Slide Race,” “Ba Xian Water Rock Music Festival,” “Ba Xian Water Boys Selection,” and “Children’s Summer Camp” to attract and satisfy visitors of all ages.

3rd Place: Janfusun Xianhu Water Park
The Janfusun “Little Viking’s Pirate Village” water park, which combines the original water park with elements from the “Vicky the Viking” cartoon, features a Nordic pirate-themed village built around scenes from the cartoon. It offers multiple exclusive pirate-themed facilities in Taiwan, not only reviving childhood memories but also allowing both kids and adults to step into the world of the cartoon, becoming pirates and embarking on wave-riding adventures this summer.

4th Place: Leofoo Village Water Park
Leofoo Village, known for its thrilling amusement rides and wildlife park, has launched a water park. Designed with Greek island architecture as inspiration, it combines ocean and rural Greek features to create a romantic and relaxing holiday atmosphere—making it Taiwan’s first water park that emphasizes architectural theming. This summer, it will also introduce a brand-new theme, “Fire & Ice Sky Rush,” featuring Taiwan’s only high-end “Zero Degree Freezing Slide” to challenge an instant freezing thrill, taking entertainment and excitement to the next level.

5th Place: Miniature Land Water Park
Emphasizing family fun, Miniature Land not only has many rides designed specifically for parent-child enjoyment, but its water attractions are also great for family play. Challenge the 12-story-high plunge of the “Thunder Wave” water roller coaster, with gravity-defying waves, or ride the must-play “Crazy Rapids,” where you’ll battle the currents.
