Not keen on the Philippines? Summer travel fair offers "island getaways for under 10,000"

The largest summer travel fair, the "2013 International Tourism Expo," is set to kick off this Friday. Due to the incident where the Philippines attacked our fishing boats, the organizers had previously announced the cancellation of six booths from the Philippines. Taipei City Travel Agents Association Chairman Xu also stated at today’s press conference that because of the Philippine incident, Taiwanese people’s willingness to travel to the Philippines has decreased. As a result, other travel companies at this expo are offering attractive promotions and discounts to attract customers. Travelers can choose from these premium travel packages.

Summer vacation is the peak travel season, and many people opt for island destinations to enjoy sunshine, beaches, and the ocean. With the Philippines no longer an option, other travel packages are launching deals under 10,000 to attract tourists.
