Make your "flight attendant dream" come true now—China Airlines to recruit 130 cabin crew members

Have you always dreamed of becoming a flight attendant but never had the chance? China Airlines announced today (30th) that it will be recruiting over 130 Taiwanese cabin crew members this year. Online applications will be accepted from May 30 to June 12. In preparation for the upcoming Busan route launching in September, Korean-speaking candidates are especially encouraged to apply.

Dreaming of becoming a flight attendant and soaring through the skies has been the childhood aspiration of many girls. To apply for a cabin crew position with China Airlines, applicants must have a university degree or higher, TOEIC score of 550 or equivalent English proficiency. Those who pass the initial screening will attend the first round of interviews at China Airlines’ Taoyuan campus in late June, which includes “qualification review” and “service professionalism assessment.” Successful candidates will then proceed to the second round, consisting of Chinese and English interviews, service professionalism assessment, and physical examinations. Korean-speaking applicants will also take a “Korean interview.” Officially hired candidates are expected to report for duty in batches starting from the end of July.

China Airlines currently employs 2,400 cabin crew members. To better serve international travelers, the airline has established specialized language teams including Korean, Japanese, Vietnamese, Thai, Hindi, and Italian. These teams are composed of cabin crew with strong language skills, deployed according to route requirements. China Airlines is calling on talented individuals with foreign language expertise, strong communication skills, a passion for storytelling, good health, and a commitment to public welfare to apply as cabin crew.

This year, China Airlines is also recruiting professional maintenance personnel for aircraft components, engines, and avionics training, offering around 200 positions. Applications are being accepted from now until June 30. The airline is also hiring at least 100 hourly and full-time ground operations staff. Those interested in playing the role of the “big-hearted guy” or Maggie from idol dramas can register online from June 27 to July 10. There are also job openings in product design planning, business planning, and IT management, with online applications open from June 1 to 14. Additionally, the airline continues to recruit pilots, including those with a Commercial Pilot License (CPL), retired air force pilots, and former civil aviation pilots. It will also offer 30 training positions for new pilots, helping young people realize their dream of flying high in the sky.
