Following its launch in Taichung, the world’s second-best freshly baked ice cream pineapple bun is now heading further south to Tainan City.It will be located at Shin Kong Mitsukoshi Tainan West Gate Store,and is set to officially open on May 11.
Locals in Tainan who have tried it in Japan and are longing for another taste can relive the experience again.
The world’s second-best freshly baked ice cream pineapple bun stays true to its Japanese roots. The pineapple buns are freshly baked—hot, crispy on the outside and soft inside—and then filled with ice cream (available in classic vanilla, matcha, and chocolate flavors), offering a unique contrast of hot and cold. Each freshly baked ice cream pineapple bun is priced at NT$120, and pineapple buns are also sold individually for NT$80 each.
