The annual Malaysia Shopping Carnival (1Malaysia Mega Sale Carnival) will officially launch from June 29 to September 1 in cities across Malaysia,including the capital Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Malacca, Sabah, and Sarawak. With over 3,000 retailers offering a series of promotions and unprecedented discounts, the event invites travelers from around the world to Malaysia for an extraordinary shopping experience.Meanwhile, the 8th Kuala Lumpur Festival will also open in July. During this period, Kuala Lumpur will be transformed into a “Capital of Art and Culture,” welcoming visitors to explore its charm from an artistic and cultural perspective.

“Shop, Enjoy Food, Celebrate with Us” is the slogan of this year’s Malaysia Shopping Carnival. Every year at this time, Malaysia becomes a prime destination for shopaholics from around the globe. Whether it’s international luxury brands or local products—clothing, handicrafts, and more—there are exciting discounts to be found. No matter where you travel in Malaysia, you’ll feel the wave of shopping fever, especially in Kuala Lumpur, which has been ranked the second-best shopping city in Asia-Pacific and the third-best tourist city in all of Asia.

Just a 20-minute drive from Singapore, Johor—home to Legoland Malaysia and Hello Kitty Town—has become one of the most attractive tourist destinations in Asia. Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts Traders Hotel Puteri Harbour, located in Puteri Harbour, grandly opened on June 1.
