1. Zhongxing New Village, Nantou City
Zhongxing New Village is a lush green community. Dendrobium orchids are also planted along the roadside trees on Guangming 2nd and 3rd Roads, where the cascading pink blooms add a touch of soft color to the greenery. After two years of diligent cultivation by the owner, Mr. Zhuang, the flowers have grown densely like a waterfall, and he generously shares the beauty of the orchids with the public. 2. Jiaxiang Garden Restaurant, Chiayi County
“Waterfall orchids” and “hanging-down orchids” are alternative names for dendrobium orchids, perfectly describing their unique appearance. At Jiaxiang Garden Restaurant in Fanlu Township, Chiayi County, eight trees host parasitic dendrobium orchids that cascade down like pink waterfalls, interwoven with purple petals, resembling a natural floral curtain. The densely blooming sight is so stunning it feels unreal. The flowers are now gradually growing leaves, signaling the end of the blooming period. The restaurant owner says there’s no extra charge for viewing, and asks the public to take care of the plants.

3. Chizhong Temple, Baihe, Tainan
Located beside a small road opposite Chizhong Temple, dendrobium orchids are planted on a longan tree, with cascading pink petals forming a spectacular floral waterfall. The owner, Mr. Wu, says the blooming period should continue until Mother’s Day. It took long-term careful care to create this beautiful scene, which is offered free for visitors to enjoy. Please be considerate, admire the view only with your eyes and camera, and avoid touching or picking the flowers.
