【Throwing Out a Brick to Attract Jade】Hong Kong Has These Attractions Besides Pokémon!

This song likely resonates with many, and ever since the mobile game Pokémon GO launched in Hong Kong this week, the entire city has gone wild. In pursuit of various Pokémon, people have been walking around and exploring. Interestingly, many of the PokéStops encountered in the process are spots we often overlook. With that in mind, this time we’re throwing out a brick to attract jade by introducing several distinctive attractions in Hong Kong. Beyond Pokémon, these spots are definitely worth a visit!

Pineapple Hill

Speaking of recent photo hotspot spots, Pineapple Hill is unmatched. This hill is located in Tuen Mun. Though not as famous as the neighboring Castle Peak and not particularly tall, this 121-meter-high hill boasts a uniquely stunning landscape, often dubbed "Hong Kong’s Grand Canyon." Valley Field

Valley Field Village, which includes New House Lower, Sections 2 to 5, and Old Village, neighbors the Sha Tau Kok Sea. It is most famous for its reed fields growing in brackish water, offering a rural charm absent in the city and teeming with butterflies. Castle Peak

Castle Peak, one of Hong Kong’s Three Sharp Peaks, also known as Pui To Shan, stands 594 meters tall and geologically consists of granite. Previously, our Fever travel expert  Fai Redefined visited during sunset. Shooting from a panoramic spot facing east, the magical blue hour was truly breathtaking, with views encompassing everything from nearby Tuen Mun Town, Golden Coast, to the distant Victoria Harbour.
