Or the airport staff in the Japanese movie “Happy Flight,” who shuttle through the bustling terminal with walkie-talkies, crafting beautiful travel journeys for every passenger? National airline operators are now recruiting over 140 ground crew staff in a major hiring drive. Applications are open from now until July 10—those interested may want to check it out.

Many people may not fully understand what ground crew do. China Airlines has launched a “Ground Crew Job Declassified” feature, detailing four key service roles: check-in counters, immigration and customs, VIP lounges, and baggage handling. From the moment passengers step into the airport for their outbound journey to their return home, almost every step is carefully assisted by ground staff—ensuring travelers can enjoy their trips with peace of mind.

Ground Crew Job Declassified:
1. Check-in Counter
When passengers are traveling abroad, their first point of contact is usually the ground staff at the check-in counter. This is the foundation of all airport operations and the essential training ground for becoming a professional crew member.
