In the 1980s, the first-class cabin of the Boeing 747

Among them, flight attendant service manager Tang Yinfen, who worked at Cathay Pacific for 30 years, recalled that the Boeing 747 was a symbol of luxury. It was the first to introduce rice cookers, allowing passengers to enjoy freshly cooked rice, which was hugely popular. Working as a flight attendant for Cathay Pacific was also a source of pride.

However, this Cathay Pacific “Queen of the Skies” Boeing 747, which has served for 37 years, will eventually retire, and her farewell flight will be CX543, departing from Tokyo Haneda Airport and returning to Hong Kong on October 1, expected to land at 2:10 pm.
