Summer water parks are all the rage – resort offers package deals at a whopping 77% discount

With temperatures soaring, water parks across Taiwan are seeing booming popularity. Among them, "Leofoo Water Park" has seen a threefold increase in visitors since its June 1 opening compared to last year. Coupled with its recent recognition by a travel platform as Taiwan’s best family-friendly amusement park, it has become a top summer travel destination. Nearby, Eastone Mountain Resort has capitalized on the water park’s appeal by launching a 2-day, 1-night family package for four people, now available at a steep 77% discount to attract summer travelers.

Covering approximately 3 hectares, "Leofoo Water Park" was built by the Leofoo Group with an investment of NT$390 million over three years. It claims to be Taiwan’s first water park emphasizing architectural themes, divided into the "Greek Village Resort Area" with blue-and-white Mediterranean charm, and the "Splash Zone" featuring thrilling water slides and wave pools for families. Ye Chung-yueh, marketing and PR manager of Leofoo Village Theme Park, said the park’s highlight is the "Poseidon Flyer" 3D slide, which plunges 15 meters at high speed for an adrenaline-pumping ride akin to an aquatic roller coaster – perfect for thrill-seekers. For those preferring a tamer experience, there are also interactive attractions like the water maze and lazy river ideal for families.

Located near "Leofoo Water Park" in Yangmei, Taoyuan, Eastone Mountain Resort has launched a summer package combining admission to the water park. The deal includes: upgrade to a premium hot spring room for four, four breakfasts, four lunches, four Leofoo Water Park tickets, four entry tickets to the Golden SPA, four DIY activity vouchers, guided tours, and round-trip transportation from the train station.
