Although this year’s cherry blossom season has passed, the lovely little treehouse remains full of fairy-tale charm and will always be the dream secret base for every child. When paired with romantic cherry blossoms, isn’t it surrealistically beautiful?

In Shirakaba Art Village, Hokuto City, Japan, not only are there gorgeous pink cherry blossoms, but also many unique buildings. One of the most eye-catching is the cherry blossom treehouse created by Japanese architect Terunobu Fujimori.

More than just for viewing, this little treehouse also functions as a tea house called Tetsu no Chaya, where visitors can rest while enjoying the cherry blossoms. However, since the treehouse is supported by only one trunk, the number of visitors is limited, allowing guests to enjoy a quiet and comfortable atmosphere.

The interior is also very simple and clean, featuring a warm wooden design with soft natural light—it feels like time stands still when you sit here. From the inside out, it’s exquisitely designed, making it a must-visit leisure spot for girls.

However, Shirakaba Art Village is not located in a major city center like Tokyo, so those who wish to go may need to put in more effort for transportation.
