Full-time traveling family: A school bus turned into an ultra-comfy home

Every time I watch a road movie, I fantasize about going on a camper van trip, enjoying the scenery along the way in comfort. And a young American couple, Luke and Rachel, took it even further — they transformed a school bus into an incredibly cozy home and hit the road for full-time travel.

Luke and Rachel have a daughter. In order to travel and experience life as a family, they sold their original 1,500 sq ft home and bought a school bus to renovate.

After 18 months of planning and renovation, their little travel haven for the family of three was finally completed.

Small but well-equipped, all the facilities are very complete. The wooden design, combined with ample use of natural light, makes the interior warm and comfortable.

So far, Luke and Rachel have traveled across 31 states and covered over 2,000 miles. They document their scenic journeys and travel stories on their website, along with many practical life tips.
