【Great Places in Hong Kong】The Hong Kong International Craft Beer Festival is back in Central at the end of September!

Before you know it, Beertopia — thisHong Kong-original craft beer festival, has reached its sixth edition this year. This year’s Beertopia will take place on the Central Harbourfront from September 22 to 23, featuring numerousnumerousaward-winning, rare,event-exclusiveandfirst-time offerings of carefully selected craftbeers. Beer enthusiasts, don’t miss out!

As a craft beer festival, naturally there’s no shortage of craft beer. This year, there will be 500 varieties of beer from around the world, including 87 brewedin Hong Konglocally — the highest number in the festival’s history. This year also sees the addition of a “Cider Area” and a “Beer Geek Area.” Cider lovers can enjoy a variety of flavors in the “Cider Area,” while the “Beer Geek Area” will offer unique and limited-edition beers.

Beyond beer, Beertopia also gathers delicacies from 25 specialty restaurants across the city and introduces food trucks for the first time, including Yau Dak (food truck), Beeliner, BLUE - Butcher & Meat Specialist, Beef & Liberty (food truck), Brickhouse, Cafe Deco Pizzeria, Chilli Fagara, Crunch Munch (food truck), Fat Legs’ BBQ, Nosh by Secret Ingredient, Pololi, Rob’s Ribs, Rummin’ Ting, Takorea, and more. Visitors can indulge in a wide range of authentic, locally-inspired specialties from around the globe.

In addition, there will be performances by local bands andHong Kong-based Sol Passion Music, one of the city’s top music production schools, with DJs joining in. Of course, there will also be the popular “Shisha Zone” and “Game Zone” activities like Beer Pong, making for a lively atmosphere that is absolutely not to be missed!
