A canyon wonderland！ Taiwan's only horizontally spinning, outflowing waterfall

Whether it's food, culture, or natural scenery, it keeps drawing Hong Kong visitors back again and again. This time, we've discovered a hidden gem — the Tiburon Waterfall — whose beauty rivals that of a fairyland.

Locatedin NantouCounty’s Ren'ai Township, within the valley of the North River at the foot of Hehuanshan Mountain, the remote red-scented tribe sits at an altitude of about 1,300 meters. What makes this hidden gem so special is that it is home to Taiwan’s only horizontally spinning, outflowing waterfall. The stone walls of the Tiburon Canyon, due to years of mineral oxidation, have formed orange and white hues, and under the long-term erosive scouring of the river water, they have taken on uniquely smooth, arc-shaped forms. The waterfall pours diagonally into an emerald-green deep pool, with rapid yet crystal-clear waters — a scene that feels like a paradise on earth.

Now that this hidden spot has been discovered, many are eager to visit. But be aware — the Tiburon Waterfall lies deep within a mountainous canyon, requiring a long drive, followed by a 20-minute hike on a mountain path. If the weather is unclear, it's best not to take the risk, and personal safety must be carefully considered.
