Red carpet time！Fukuoka’s cosmos flower fields debut in October!

It’s early autumn again, and besides the long-awaited autumn foliage, every October,JapanFukuoka’s cosmos flower fields are spectacular and well worth a visit. The cosmos fields are one of the four major floral attractions at Nokonoshima Island Park each year. The flower fields are built against the mountains, with the blue ocean as a backdrop—absolutely dazzling!

As one of the four major floral displays on Nokonoshima, there are about 800,000 cosmos flowers here, creating a pink carpet that lets visitors take photos standing amidst a sea of pink—absolutely gorgeous!

And the most special part? Nokonoshima Island Park has evening lighting—how could you miss the cosmos flowers glowing at night!

Transportation: Take a ferry from Tsukinowahama Ferry Terminal to Nokonoshima Ferry Terminal (about 10 minutes by boat, 230 yen for adults, 120 yen for children), then transfer to a bus at “Ferry Terminal Mae” stop and get off at “Island Park” (about 13 minutes by bus)
