No more plastic cups allowed—glassware is back at the Hong Kong Wine & Dine Festival!

The annualHong KongWine & Dine Festival is just around the corner. Earlier, the Hong Kong Tourism Board proposed requiring all outdoor areas to use plastic wine glasses in response to police safety advice, which sparked quite a debate. Fortunately, after further discussions, it was decided to revert to the previous practice and allow attendees to use the glassware provided by the event, which is expected to reduce the distribution of over 70,000 disposable plastic cups.

This year’s “Hong KongWine & Dine Festival” will kick off tomorrow on the Central Harbourfront and run for four days. During that time, you can continue to enjoy music by the Victoria Harbour while savoring fine wines. This year's Wine & Dine Festival will feature around 400 food and wine stalls, offering a selection of premium drinks from around the world—including craft beer, creative cocktails, and, of course, wine, whiskey, and delicious food.
