JapanJapan’s interactive art collective TeamLab has captivated the world with its imaginative light-based interactive installations, turning many of its unique exhibits into popular photo spots. Now, TeamLab has taken its interactive art to the dining table, offering guests a multi-sensory feast that stimulates both the eyes and the palate.

This year, TeamLab has collaborated withTokyoSAGAYA restaurant in Ginza, where ingredients are paired with stunning visual effects to showcase the beauty of the four seasons and nature, delivering a fully immersive sensory experience. For those who want to get up close and enjoy TeamLab’s interactive dining tables, there’s also the “Flower Dance Impression” restaurant in Shenzhen, which opened in October. It only accommodates 16 guests per day — 8 at lunch and 8 at dinner — ensuring every diner enjoys the best possible service. Those interested should book early!

The chefs will also prepare unique dishes for each guest, adding a personal touch to the technological experience.

A dreamlike river of colors flows between the table and the food — it’s surreal beauty at its finest. The visuals on the table also change based on your movements, making for a truly engaging experience.
