Responding to the Direct Flight Craze Between Tainan and Hong Kong – A 3-Day, 2-Night Trip to Disneyland Starting from Just NT$9,999

Direct flights between Tainan and Hong Kong are set to take off. Starting July 18, China Airlines will officially launch direct round-trip flights from Tainan International Airport to Hong Kong, with services scheduled for Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays each week. To capitalize on the excitement surrounding these new direct routes, travel agencies have partnered with Hong Kong Disneyland to offer a special deal: a direct flight package priced at NT$9,999 (taxes included), which includes a stay at Disney’s Hollywood Hotel and comes with two-day park tickets.

Since May, when Hong Kong Disneyland unveiled its three new themed lands — “Toy Story Land,” “Grizzly Gulch,” and “Mystic Point” — the park has attracted thousands of visitors every day in just a few short months. Beyond the buzz and appeal brought by the new attractions, the summer vacation coincides with the global hype around Pixar’s new movie, “Monsters University.” In response, the park has created a special “Monsters University” administrative building within the resort, where it recruits “Monsters University” students, processes their enrollment, and issues custom “Monsters University” student IDs, allowing guests to experience the scare factor of the Scare School. Upon graduation, students can even download an exclusive diploma using their student ID number.

From now until September 1, Hong Kong Disneyland is hosting special “Monsters University”-themed events. Visitors can experience the campus life of Mike Wazowski and Sulley firsthand and take photos with them. There are also hands-on activities: you can draw your own version of Mike Wazowski (a fan favorite among both kids and adults), or get creative and make your own monster-themed cupcake. For those who prefer not to DIY, the park also offers 15 different monster-themed food, beverage, and merchandise items. There’s also a limited-edition “Monsters University” welcome kit that includes a lunch box with lunch, a Mike Wazowski-themed coaster, a lanyard, and an ID holder. The complete student ID processing package is available for just HK$238 (approximately NT$960), letting you become a true “Monsters University” freshman.

Taking advantage of the excitement surrounding this new flight route, Hong Kong Disneyland has prepared a special direct-flight travel package: a 3-day, 2-night trip to Hong Kong Disneyland, staying at Disney’s Hollywood Hotel (quad occupancy), including a two-day park ticket, all starting from just NT$9,999 (taxes included).
