The Tainan City Government announced on the evening of the 10th that the originally scheduled “2013 Tainan Masago Music Festival,” set to take place on July 12 and 13 at the Masago Coastal Recreation Area, has been postponed due to the approaching Typhoon Soudelor. The decision was made based on safety concerns and to ensure the quality of the concert performances.

This year’s “2013 Tainan Masago Music Festival” boasts an impressive lineup, featuring 10 top-tier artists and bands including Golden Melody Award winner Patty Hou, rock legend Zhang Zhenyue, ballad queen Ding Dang, leading rock band Quarterback, as well as rising acts such as Stronghold, Universe People, and Bear Baby. The evening “Summer DJ Swing Night” will not only host performances by the chief DJ from Taiwan’s renowned nightclub 18TC but will also incorporate the trending Harlem Shake, reimagined into an exclusive “Masago Health Shake” tailored for the Tainan Masago event.
