Not letting "Northern Gongliao and Southern Kenting" hog the spotlight, Taichung has also launched its Blue Ribbon Ocean Tourism Festival, and combined for the first time with the "Da'an Music Festival" to create the new concept of "Central Taiwan’s Big 3 Coastal Destinations," with performers includingPower Station of China, A-Lin, Evan Yo, and Pan Yu-Wenamong others. Additionally, there will be lucky draws—just showing up for the fun gives you a chance to win great prizes like an iPad mini or a Giant gear-shifting bicycle.

The Taichung Blue Ribbon Ocean Tourism Festival will take placeon the 20th at Wuci Fishing Port and Da'an Coastal Park. Taichung Mayor Hu Zhiqiang warmly invites everyone to come experience the coastal charm of Greater Taichung during the summer vacation. Regarding the issue of excessive E. coli levels in certain areas of Da'an waters, the mayor also stated that it will be resolved within three years and the area will reopen. During the closure, surfing zones will be set up in nearby large bodies of water free from E. coli issues. Once the water quality in Da'an is clean again, the ocean tourism festival will be expanded comprehensively. The public is assured there is no need to worry.

With the Blue Ribbon Ocean Night about to begin, as a token of gratitude for the public's enthusiasm, attendees who enter at 16:00 on the day of the event can exchange a donation receipt for a free souvenir.
