Taipei to Host Citywide Picnic Day in Green Spaces – TLC20 Gathers for Fun at Beitou Riverside

Thanks to the Taipei City Government’s continuous efforts, the city’s riverside parks and bike paths have become an integral part of many residents’ leisure lives, even attracting visitors from other cities and countries who come specifically to experience cycling along Taipei’s scenic waterways. To celebrate the 10th anniversary of its launch in Taiwan, TLC Travel & Living Channel has partnered with the Taipei City Government to host the“TLC HAPPY DAY Taipei Picnic Day”event.

This renowned travel channel, TLC, has specially introduced a picnic day event and carefully selected Beitou Riverside Park as the venue, combining elements such as sunshine, music, and green spaces to encourage the public to embrace nature and enjoy outdoor time. This also demonstrates that Taipei’s efforts in creating a high-quality, livable urban environment have gained attention and recognition from international media.

The 10,000-person picnic event will take placefrom 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM on the 20th, featuring a full day of activities including live music performances, travel talks, food tastings, floral design workshops, lifestyle aesthetics experiences, and exclusive recommendations for Taipei’s cycling routes. Notable guests include TLC personalities Janet and Bob Blumer, show chefs Maggie and Armando, who will all join the public in enjoying the picnic.
