"My Siraya Micro-Trip" – Travel Dream Plan Essay Contest with Ten Thousand NT Dollars in Travel Grants

The Siraya National Scenic Area Administration has launched the "Tabe Siraya Micro-Trip" Travel Dream Plan Essay Competition, combining it with the current hottest travel trend—micro-travel. From now until August 31, participants can submit their most creative and flavorful travel plans for a chance to win a 10,000 NT dollar travel grant sponsored by the Siraya National Scenic Area. Those who upload their dream travel plans before July 31 may also receive hotel accommodation vouchers.

The Siraya National Scenic Area promotes three major travel routes: Romantic Hot Springs, Joyful Countryside, and Colorful Artistic Landscapes. Whether it’s attractions, activities, or cuisine, every element is full of surprises. Experience the rich vitality of Siraya tourism firsthand through sight, sound, taste, smell, and touch.

The Siraya National Scenic Area Administration is calling on all micro-travel-loving “backpackers” to join the Siraya Micro-Trip Dream Plan. Use your boundless imagination to write the most creative and flavorful travel plan. The administration states that anyone brave enough to submit a travel dream plan has the chance to be awarded a 10,000 NT dollar travel dream fund.

In addition to the dream fund, there is also an Early Bird Dream Prize. Those who upload their dream travel plans before July 31 and have them approved by the review committee will have the chance to win travel experience vouchers for accommodations at Zouma La Farm, Wenshan Furong Resort Hotel, and Lijing Hot Spring Club.

Submission Period: July 10, 2013 – August 31, 2013
Early Bird Submissions: July 10, 2013 – July 31, 2013 (Participants who submit their dream plans by July 31, 2013, and pass the review will be eligible for the Early Bird Dream Grand Prize random draw.)
Word Count: Within 1,000 words (including both Chinese and English, excluding punctuation).
Image Specifications: Upload 1–3 photos (photo uploads are optional).
Itinerary Planning: Minimum of 2 days and 1 night.
Submission Guidelines: Each person / per email address may submit one essay.
