Princess Cruises, affiliated with the world's largest Carnival Corporation & PLC, recently announced its official entry into the Asian market, with future routes covering Taiwan. Weighing 77,000 tons and capable of carrying nearly 2,000 people, what secrets lie within the interiors of this Princess cruise ship that attract people from all over the world to come aboard like pilgrims?

Princess Cruises, which operates 17 world-class cruise ships, has already offered 115 unique itineraries visiting over 350 ports around the globe. This year, it has added the Northeast Asia route of the "Sun Princess" for the first time, covering destinations such as Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, and Russia. The Sun Princess, which made its first stop at Kaohsiung’s Banana Pier in June, has attracted the attention of Taiwanese travelers with its newly added open-air starry sky cinema, where one can enjoy the vast starry sky and sea horizon, as well as the highly private Temple Adult Lounge among other facilities.

Upon entering the Sun Princess, the first thing you see is the lofty lobby. Unlike other cruise ships primarily focused on transportation, the Sun Princess exudes an elegant and noble atmosphere. Throughout the ship, there are areas for passengers to rest, enjoy the view, and sip wine. If you follow the stairs from the lobby upward, it feels like peeling back the hidden layers of the ship’s interior. Each floor houses hidden gems such as a casino, library, amphitheater, and an outdoor starry sky cinema, each offering a unique experience.

As for the future itinerary plans of the Sun Princess, Xu Jingqi, General Manager of Princess Cruises’ Taiwan regional agent, stated that in addition to this year’s innovative “Sun Princess” Japan route product, next spring will also see the larger and more luxurious 116,000-ton “Diamond Princess” stationed in the Northeast Asia region for an extended period. The 2014 new product will also make stops at Hualien Port and is expected to gradually introduce products targeting emerging markets such as Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Singapore.
