Travel Center / Comprehensive Report
Have you ever seen a suspension bridge dancing to the rhythm of music? On this breezy, moonlit summer night, the light sculpture on the BiTan Suspension Bridge sparkles like radiant stars in the night sky. Paired with the romantic notes of classical music drifting from the riverside, it weaves together a series of enchanting melodies. The "BiTan Suspension Bridge Light Sculpture Show" kicked off on the 27th, with performances at the top of every hour from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Each show lasts about 4.5 minutes, with a different theme each day from Monday to Sunday.
Under the summer moonlight and starry sky, the BiTan Suspension Bridge becomes even more captivating with its changing light displays. This is Taiwan’s first suspension bridge light sculpture that moves to the rhythm of music, featuring 610 meters of aluminum track lights, 400 pearl lights, and 8 spotlights, using a total of 17,472 LED lights. This transformation makes BiTan the most enchanting new night attraction. Starting July 27th, the BiTan Suspension Bridge light sculpture will be performed at the top of every hour from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM each evening, with each show lasting about 4.5 minutes. Each night features a unique theme, with the themes from Monday to Sunday being Shine, Ripple, Dream, Flow, Shuttle, Wave, and Chase, respectively.
In addition to the light sculpture show, live band performances will be held on the evenings of July 27th, August 3rd, and August 10th at the BiTan East Bank Plaza. Through the fusion of classical music and the light sculpture, a romantic and dazzling overture is composed for BiTan. The participating music groups are the Xindian Philharmonic Orchestra, Quality Orchestra, and Freewill Band.
On summer nights, simply sit by the riverside of BiTan, enjoy the cool breeze, gaze up at the dazzling lights of the suspension bridge, listen to the soothing classical melodies, and sip on coffee or tea — all of which are sure to help you unwind from the stresses of daily life. Beyond the BiTan Suspension Bridge and its stunning night views, hiking and photography enthusiasts should not miss the fragrant Himayama Trail during the day, or the nearby Wulai Scenic Area, famous for its hot springs and waterfalls.
