 Giza Pyramids of Khufu
The Giza Pyramids, also known as the Great Pyramids or the Pyramid of Khufu, were built during the reign of Pharaoh Khufu. They are the only surviving wonder of the ancient Seven Wonders of the World. It’s still a mystery how such massive structures were built in ancient times, and seeing them in person is an indescribably moving experience. Xiaoxiang shared that you need to set off around 3 or 4 a.m. on the day of your visit because local police manage vehicle access, making round trips difficult—but witnessing the beauty of these historic monuments is truly beyond words.

Abu Simbel
The Abu Simbel Temple is a rock-cut temple built from carved stone by Pharaoh Ramses II of the 19th Dynasty during the New Kingdom period of ancient Egypt. Originally, the temple was carved into a mountainside, facing the Nile and southern Nubia. Later, to prevent it from being submerged due to the construction of Lake Nasser, UNESCO relocated and reconstructed it on a hill above the original site.

Pharaoh Ramses II, known for his grandiosity, showcased the might of his kingdom through this temple. Each statue of Ramses at the front of the temple is 20 meters tall. The four statues stand in a row, creating a majestic and awe-inspiring sight, all wearing the double crown symbolizing the unification of Upper and Lower Egypt. The central entrance leads directly into the temple interior, where well-preserved wall paintings primarily depict the military campaigns of Ramses II.
