Grand Hyatt Taipei to Undergo Major Renovation Starting Today, Will Launch Value-Packed Food & Accommodation Combo Deal Later

Grand Hyatt Taipei will commence a full-scale renovation project starting today (August 12), shutting down operations for ten consecutive days. The hotel will resume room and partial restaurant services from the 22nd of this month, with all restaurants expected to return to normal operation by the 24th. Following that, to celebrate the grand reopening of the newly renovated guest rooms and the hotel’s 23rd anniversary, the property will offer two limited-time promotions: “Buy One Get One Free on New Rooms” and “Spend NT$2,000 on F&B, Get NT$500 Back.” These deals aim to reward customers with exceptional dining experiences and top-tier accommodations.

After the renovation and reopening, Grand Hyatt Taipei announced that from September 8 to 30, it will launch a “Buy One Get One Free” room promotion. Booking a new room will cost as little as NT$9,100 per night, with options to enjoy one free night for every booked night or one free room for every booked room. Other included benefits are: complimentary room upgrade by one category, free access to the hotel-wide Wi-Fi, free use of all facilities at the Oasis Fitness Center (including men’s and women’s saunas, two 24-hour gyms, an aerobics studio, and an outdoor heated pool), as well as one complimentary parking space per room, limited to 20 rooms per day.

This room promotion is available in limited quantities daily and subject to hotel availability. The above prices are per room per night for one person; an additional charge of NT$600 (minimum) applies for double occupancy. Prices are subject to a 15.5% service charge and tax, and must be booked one day in advance. Grand Hyatt Taipei emphasizes that this offer is not applicable for group or conference bookings and cannot be combined with other promotional offers.

Another promotion allows diners to enjoy NT$500 off for every NT$2,000 spent on a single receipt at any hotel restaurant. This offer runs from August 24 to September 2. Grand Hyatt Taipei notes that this discount does not apply to banquet halls or beverage purchases in restaurants, and cannot be combined with the Grand Hyatt Gourmet Card dining discounts or other promotions.

Grand Hyatt Taipei stated that since last year, the hotel has been undergoing a large-scale guest room renovation project. Phase one, which included the complete renovation of guest rooms in the West Wing, the Regency Club Lounge, and the multi-functional banquet and meeting facilities, has been successfully completed. Subsequently, the hotel will begin phase two—the renovation of guest rooms in the East Wing—from mid-August, with completion expected by April next year. To minimize disruption to guests, the entire hotel will be closed from August 12 to 21 for major demolition work. Room and partial restaurant services will resume on August 22, with all restaurants returning to normal operation by the 24th.
